rugby

“Rugby” was the foundation of my breeding program at MilleniuM.  I purchased this wonderful dog from David and
Anna Harris of Brummagem Bull Terriers.  This ultra-typey dog was shown on a limited basis and finished
his championship before he was a year old and proceeded to garner multiple group placements and his
Recognition of Merit from the Bull Terrier Club of America, Inc. “Rugby” was in the top ten of the breed for three of the five years
he was shown. He came out of retirement at nine years of age to show in eleven shows.  He was awarded Veteran Dog at the
BTCA, Inc. National Specialty, nine Best of Variety wins, one Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Variety and made the cut in the
Terrier Group.  Many of his wins are due to the expert handling of my good friend, Vicky Zumwalt.
“Rugby” is the Colored Bull Terrier featured in the twentieth edition of the American
Kennel Club’s The Complete Dog Book.  At ten years of age, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and
lost the battle at the age of eleven.
